Policies

1. How long will it take to receive my order? 

 We will ship your order within 3 working days, unless specified otherwise (for example pre-orders or custom orders will take longer, depending on the item). 

2. What is your shipping policy? 

All Shipments are sent from Sittard (The Netherlands) via PostNL. During checkout you will be able to choose between standard shipping and the slightly more expensive shipping with Track & Trace option. After placing your order, you will receive a confirmation email and a second email once your package is on its way. If you opt for track and trace you will now be able to follow your package online. Within the Netherlands all packages will automatically be sent with track&trace. Please note, our shipping times may be impacted by delays outside of our control, once we have handed the package over to the postal service. 

 3. Will I be charged any taxes on my order? 

The prices you see on the website are including VAT. Within the the Netherlands we can confirm that no additional taxes will be charged. For anyone ordering from (or shipping to) outside of the Netherlands, the customer is responsible for any local taxes and import duties. 

4. What is your return / exchange policy?  

We have a 3-day return policy, which means you have 3 days after receiving your item to request a return. To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

To start a return or exchange, you can contact us at info@arminotreasures.com. If your return is accepted, we’ll email you a return shipping form, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

  • Return shipping: The customer is responsible for return shipping costs and ensuring that the items are delivered back to us. Please retain the tracking information of any items you return. We are unable to refund for any items lost in transit.

  • Damages and issues: Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

  • Exceptions / non-returnable items: Custom items, discounted items and giftcards cannot be returned.

  • Refunds: We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

5. How are Armino treasures made? 

All items are designed and created by Valerie in our little atelier in Sittard. We handpick only the most magical, high quality fabrics and materials and we personally package and ship all orders. Since each item is handmade, not two of them are exactly the same, which also means that they might slightly differ from the pictures on the website and on our instagram. There may be 1-2 cm difference in the length of each cape for example. 

6. How should the garments be used? 

Our intricate designs are handmade with delicate materials and not meant for everyday play. Never let children out of sight when using our products and pay special attention to keep the items away from fire at all times due to the highly flammable nature of tulle. Cloaks are not meant to sleep in and should always be tied loosely and with a single knot to allow them to come off easily. Please note that small pieces should be kept away from little mouths. And of course always keep in mind that the magical superpowers of our items are limited to the imagination. ;) 

7. Where did the story come from?

The story about our treasures (Mirellda and the Woodland Realms) was written by David Neri (Eva's love) and inspired by the designs of our cloaks and by the adventures that Val's little girl Mila had whilst wearing them. Each collection will be paired with a new chapter, so stay tuned!

8. How will my data be handled?

Your privacy is of great importance to us and we comply with the privacy law. This means that your data is safe with us and that we always use it properly. You can find more information here
